1. I first imported the two clips and had one under the other (the one where I am not in it) to create a seamless effect. 2. I then clipped the video on top and added cross dissolve to both clips to make the effect more seamless. 3. I then ultra keyed the green blanket so it was more transparent than before. 4. Then, I made the clips black and white. 5. I then unlinked the audio of the second clip from the visuals and then clipped the audio. 6. I then media encoded the video. 7. I then uploaded the finished video to YouTube.
How to set up a tripod? - Release the tripod legs- The best way to do this is to extend from the bottom down. Make sure the legs are stable. Lock the legs- Pushing the leg locks towards/on to the legs. *If needed to raise the center column*- Undo the side screw/twist and pull up the center column then tighten the side screw. *If needed to pan and tip*- Loosen up the handle at the back of the panhead. This will allow you to move the equipment around. Then undo the top side screw to be able to pan the equipment from side to side. Take out the quick release plate or the camera mount and attach the camera. Slide the plate/camera mount back onto where it was before but this time, with the camera attached.
Last Monday I made a video of what looked like a space ship in space. Firstly in groups we went off and filmed the video and the setup looked like this: *a small plastic spaceship attached to a piece of string which was then strung up on a tripod. The camera was then on the black plastic strip which then allowed it to be able to slide right to left. Which on camera, gave the impression that the ship was moving slowly* After that, the video was then uploaded to premiere pro where I would then edit it by removing the green screen and adding a space background. Then using lens flare to create an effect of light coming off the ship. The things I could of done better in this lesson was effectively using lens flare better than last time and finishing my work in enough time. Here is the embedded video:
