1.1 three-point lighting (practical)

In these next two photos we used classic three-point lighting which consists of; Key lighting, Back lighting and Fill lighting. This lighting is more of an interview lighting, as the lighting setup illuminates all of the scene.

- In the first photo, the key lighting is on the left, the back lighting is on the right and the fill lighting is on the center-right.

- In the second photo, the fill lighting is in the middle, the back lighting is on the right and the key lighting is on the left.

-Thriller lighting: Only the fill lighting is off in these 3 photos creating a dramatic and suspenceful effect. The key lighting was used to illuminate a section of the scene and the back lighting was used to create a slight glow effect, whilst there still being shadows as the fill light isn't on.

Horror lighting: Only the key lighting was on noticeably creating a darker and shadowy effect.
