  Techniques   One technique of research is using books/going to libraries. This technique is helpful because it is secondary research, so it is more relevantly easier to find and more accessibly than primary research. Another research technique is using the internet. This technique is also helpful because the information is all right there at your fingertips. Another technique is taking or giving out surveys.This technique of primary research can be helpful as it can lead to finding out about what people like and how people react to things etc-This technique can also be classed as UPG and SPG;Unverified Personal Gnosis and Shared Personal Gnosis.   Primary Research Primary research is research that is yet to exist. Another name for this type of research is "field research", as it is information you collect yourself. Some examples of primary/field research are:  Surveys, Interviews, Observation etc. This type of research can be UPG(Unverified Personal Gnosis) and also SPG (Shared Personal Gnosis)-with surveys.  Secondary Research Secondary research is research that already exists. Another name for this type of research is "desk research", as it is information that already exists so you don't need to collect it yourself.  Pitching a Media Product week 1: Thursday 17th September Activity 1: Today i selected a movie from my shortlist and described the reasons why i chosen the scene to the rest of the group. My chosen movie was The Lost Boys I described the scene which was 'Michael's Initiation' scene/ "They're only noodles Michael" scene The reason i selected the movie and talked about it was because it shows how easy people can be manipulated into things they normally wouldn't do, which results in terrible consequences.
