Evaluation for vintage style editing

Image
Last Monday I made a video of what looked like a space ship in space. Firstly in groups we went off and filmed the video and the setup looked like this:  *a small plastic spaceship attached to a piece of string which was then strung up on a tripod. The camera was then on the black plastic strip which then allowed it to be able to slide right to left. Which on camera, gave the impression that the ship was moving slowly* After that, the video was then uploaded to premiere pro where I would then edit it by removing the green screen and adding a space background. Then using lens flare to create an effect of light coming off the ship. The things I could of done better in this lesson was effectively using lens flare better than last time and finishing my work in enough time. Here is the embedded video:

LA2:Use Research Techniques to Gather Material: Film Proposals

What is a film proposal?-  A film proposal is a visual representation of what the film is going to look like, financially, story-wise and production-wise.  How is a film proposal used in the industry?- In the film industry,  a film proposal is used to give people an idea of what the film will look like. What is the content of a film proposal?-  A film proposal contains the longline(what the script is about), screenplay structure ( a brief summary of the key aspects of the film), characters(describe the relevant characters in detail), film treatment(the film should read like a short story at this point) and target audience/usp.  Filmdaily.tv. Evaluation for lumous wand spell

Image
Last Monday I filmed a video to later edit. After I filmed it, I then went on to premiere pro and then cut the video so it was easier to edit. After that was done I used lens flare by dragging the effect onto the cut, second part of the video and then moved the effects controls so the light met the end of the wand. I then adjusted the effects for each keyframe so whenever the wand move the effect did too. The only prop I used was a stick as a wand. The camera used was a Cannon 101. Something that I could of done better is making sure the effects were more smoother and not as jittery.

1.1 three-point lighting (practical)

Image
In these next two photos we used classic three-point lighting which consists of; Key lighting, Back lighting and Fill lighting. This lighting is more of an interview lighting, as the lighting setup illuminates all of the scene.  - In the first photo, the key lighting is on the left, the back lighting is on the right and the fill lighting is on the center-right.  - In the second photo, the fill lighting is in the middle, the back lighting is on the right and the key lighting is on the left. -Thriller lighting: Only the fill lighting is off in these 3 photos creating a dramatic and suspenceful effect. The key lighting was used to illuminate a section of the scene and the back lighting was used to create a slight glow effect, whilst there still being shadows as the fill light isn't on. Horror lighting: Only the key lighting was on noticeably creating a darker and shadowy effect.
